Statement from Woodco Renewable Energy Ltd It is with deep regret that Woodco Renewable Energy Ltd announces its intention to enter liquidation. Over the past number of years, Woodco has worked to deliver renewable energy solutions across Ireland, supporting customers in reducing energy costs and carbon emissions through biomass heating and solar PV technologies. Despite the significant efforts of our employees, customers, suppliers, shareholders and advisors, the Company has been unable to secure a viable path forward. The Board carefully explored a range of restructuring and investment options in an effort to preserve the business and protect stakeholder interests. Unfortunately, due to ongoing financial challenges and changing market conditions, these efforts have not resulted in a sustainable outcome. We recognise the impact this news will have on our employees, customers, suppliers and wider stakeholders. Our immediate priority is to work closely with the appointed liquidator to ensure an orderly process and to maximise value for creditors. We would like to sincerely thank our employees for their dedication and professionalism, our customers for their trust and support, our suppliers and partners for their collaboration, and our shareholders for their commitment throughout the Company’s journey.
